It was a wish she had, to do something like he could do. Travel and explore different worlds. Of course there were dangers and the like out there, but she was willing to take her chance if she ever had the opportunity to. For now, she can only imagine what its like and not jump to conclusions when it comes to Seikin and his journeys.
“Money isn’t my top priority. And don’t worry, babysitting isn’t my thing." And you don’t look like you need a babysitter anyway.
Insensitive joke? She could take it, besides she was used to the old ‘Icky Vicky’ thing and everything that came with it. Though, it was something else to hear them now that she was older. Oh well, in the end she was alright with it and could easily laugh it off.
"Anyway, thinking about just heading back once you get your pen?” She asked, wanting to make some kind of small talk with him. It wouldn’t be great if she just went quiet and only led him to his destination. Even if it wasn’t that far of a walk, trying to say something was better than not even trying at all.
Of course, everything comes with a price. With the ability to travel between worlds, he couldn’t directly influence a world that isn’t his greatly, lest he risk death. Not that Seikin’s journey means anything other than observing other worlds and obtain various perspectives as well as complying with his father’s orders at times.

Having need to babysit his little brother all the time, he didn’t need a babysitter anyway. More like he’s the babysitter!
As a kid, Seikin actually watched that comical cartoon before, on how fairy godparents really made their godchildren happy like a family of their own. And that Vicky is the worst person ever, though reminiscing it made him sympathize her at times. No matter how evil she is, in the end she’s human.

Small talk is nice. This is one of the few worlds where he actually talked to the people in them. Then again, this is one of the few worlds where he can’t escape due to circumstances and actually need assistance to return. He wonders where is the other taking him to. To see more of those creatures he had seen while he was wandering alone?
