Reunion
天田君:
【 ϟ ϟ ϟ ϟ 】
He made a promise to Kirijo-san that, he’d be a normal student. A normal child. But, Ken wasn’t sure, if he was by standard normal like the other boys his age. He knew how to summon a Persona—, he had to grow up faster or rather mature faster. But now, he was in middle school and S.E.E.S had officially disbanded since then. He knew he shouldn’t be thinking about the past but sometimes, he gets caught up in it. His unusual childhood memories he calls it.
Nearly few years has passed by, and Ken had grew… a little. He was definitely taller, but nothing really significant to him now, he realized. He laughs at the idea of always wanting to grow up and be an adult. Now he’s already near his teens and yet, he didn’t feel very satisfied. The boy wonders about that person who gone on, the one who had all the burdens to carry the world on their own. Nothing he did would supposedly compared to theirs.
“I’m in middle school now…“ he mutters under his breath while looking around at his surroundings. He was supposed to meet his senior somewhere, but he wasn’t sure what location. They didn’t quite give the exact details to it, but they… wanted to meet somewhere. Right now he was at Port Island Station, looming around and looking around for a familiar face. If only, they just say where…. “He’s still… soft in the head.”
Promises. He broke those before, unfortunately, but it’s for
a good cause. His worthless life for another’s who still have
so much ahead of him. Shinjiro doubt it’ll be too much for the
boy who he had observed from afar during that time, for more
than a reason. Reasons he prefer to be silent about, especially
to who he is about to meet. But Shinjiro have to admit though,
S.E.E.S. is a life changer, not only to Shinjiro himself, but
every single member had a significant turn in their lives.
That debilitating coma sure took a lot out of him, even now…
He wore a bulletproof vest that time, so the first and second
shot was nothing, as the vest took the first and the pocket
watch took the second. But no matter the bullets, it’s the drug
that had him bedridden and unconscious for more than he would
like. But god had given him the last chance to see her before
her demise. And just as she died, Shinjiro disappeared too,
probably leaving the whole dorm members in various state of
emotions. But he did leave a letter directed to Akihiko and
Mitsuru, though it’s been just two years since that.
How much could possibly change in two years?
One look at Ken Amada and one would know…
still soft in the head it seems.

Observing the boy from afar, Shinjiro remained silent. The boy
would find him eventually amidst the crowd he is in, but the fact
that the boy have Koromaru seem to sped things up. Hearing barks,
the Hierophant knows there’s no turning back now.
He couldn’t summon his Persona anymore,
rendering him as a normal human.

❝ Arf! Arf! ❞
Giving a small smile, Shinjiro bend down and petted the dog.
He just couldn’t help spoiling that Shiba Inu. Even after not seeing
him for two years, the dog still recognizes him. He had become
haggard from that dishwashing job in a restaurant and the
occasional helping out in the kitchen, but he still looks the same,
just a little taller and older.
