SHE HAD NO idea where the wave of enemies came from and who their intended target was, but she wasn’t going to stand by and let them do as she pleased. Yui was a predator, territorial by nature, and these punks were trespassing on her turf. The Cloud may not be head of the family, but it was still her duty to ensure that everything is safe and sound. When they were alerted of unusual activity going on, it was her who was first to respond and handle the situation.
Now that her enemies had been brought down to their knees, broken and bloody—and maybe a few dead, who knows?—she had to get to the bottom of this. Was this an attack against the Vongola family? It was a possibility. With a new Boss on the throne—a female to boost to that—many would assume that the Eleventh Generation were weak compared to their predecessors.
But she will prove them wrong. They were not weaker, they can hold their own— —they were stronger.
Yui did not have to go far to find out who was—assumed to be—behind this whole mess. Crystalline hues narrowed upon him, twirling his fan flail with practiced ease as his feet parted, the flame around his ring growing brighter.
Running from everything is perhaps the best way to summarize Seikin’s life. As the eldest heir to his family, he never really accepted his fate and pushed his responsibilities to his younger brother who had yet to awaken to his powers unlike Seikin himself who awoken to it much earlier than any other of his kind. Fortunately, his kind are bound to only attack their own kind, and Seikin is their youngest target yet. Though his powers are powerful, his inexperience is what his enemies tried to defeat him with.
He’s just fifteen for crying out loud. Have those people who are probably in their twenties have no mercy?
What Seikin had done is merely sent his enemies away to another place, as long as it is not anywhere near here. Several of his kind may be be aligned to some yakuza families, while some are aligned with mafias, but Seikin and his immediate family aren’t that at all. Their only responsibility they have is to prevent this from getting out of hand, and keeping time in check as some of their kind are capable of executing time travel. Even if they can travel through time, there are still laws set within them, some gravely important.
But never mind that, what matters is the lady in front of him, ready to strike him with all she have. And judging by the other’s question, Seikin’s assuming she is one.
Seikin isn’t aiming to kill, nor is he paid to kill, but if it’s for self-preservation, then he have no other choice.
Gripping the baton tightly, golden light seems to envelop it.
