Even for a Shadow, at least Kage had a sense of when it was a good time to progress a relationship. Or at least, how a human would. But if that was really the Shadow’s opinion on relationships, then Kage had to grin at the hypocrisy that was overflowing from this place, and him. “For someone who believes in getting straight to the point, you sure did a whole lot of nothing but talking when you had me in my skivvies back there,” he remarked, folding his arms behind his head.
As the Shadow continued to explain Kanji’s views, he smiled faintly and nodded, “He’s seeing her beyond what her gender is, because that doesn’t matter anymore. He likes Naoto for who she is, because maybe her actions and personality are an inspiration to him. Which I suppose is the one explanation for why ‘opposites attract’, or so people say.”
Feeling the entrance of the base nearing, Kage gave off a relieved sigh as every little breeze cooled the damp moisture against his skin. He felt like his life was no longer in danger, and that was a plus. Still, he knew he wouldn’t be opposed to going that deep into the bathhouse again sometime. It was pretty refreshing, and he looked up to the other Shadow with a smile, “Nah, I enjoyed it. My own base is always so cold and dry. It was nice to try something new for once. Anyways, I suppose we’ll be parting now… I suspect you have other things to do, so I won’t take up all your time.”
Hypocracy, that’s the creed of a Reversed Emperor. An Emperor can’t solve his problem, but the Reversed Emperor twists the problem to the point it’s an even bigger problem that he ceased to acknowledge. This, really isn’t Kanji’s suppressed desires, this is just a twisted manifestation of Kanji’s suppressed emotions. Despite being Kanji’s Shadow, the Shadow didn’t really know that much on his host unlike the other did with theirs. Which lead to the Reversed Emperor to be creative, making up things that can be shot down, full of holes. Not that it mattered anyway since the Reversed Emperor switches his act in a flip of a coin.

As they stepped near to the entrance, he felt the surroundings becoming much cooler, usually cold means bad in this bathhouse, but it seems unbearable earlier on even for him, who spent almost all his time here. He dreaded, fortunately it won’t get too cold for the Shadow’s liking as he would need those so called clothes by then.
