Ah, there it was! That wonderful, horrible, temper, the abomination in action. Even while tired the dragon could be provoked into fighting, but was that really so surprising? Shizuo truly was a monster, a simple-minded creature of habit that wrought destruction. How long would it be before hurting others was no longer enough? For a man who abhorred violence, he caused an alarming amount of damage. Wouldn’t he begin taking lives before long?
With a cheerful giggle the informant lithely dodged the bench hurled in his direction. The bartender-turned-body guard was easy to read, and since he had a habit of broadcasting his moves, Izaya found no issue with being several steps ahead. The day that Shizuo managed to surprise him was the day Hell actually froze over.
“You hurt my feelings~! I’m not a monster, Shizu-chan; I’m a simple information broker. Have you forgotten already? Hardly a surprise given your undeveloped, protozoan brain and all…”
Tsk, fucking did it again. That was the bleached blonde’s immediate thought as he rip the chair off his hinges and threw it at the other, which of course missed. Why does his stupid body moved by itself upon rage and why can’t everything he threw at Izaya landed on his face like that time with the trash can? For a man who tried to practice abstinence on violence, he dealt so much damage that even the most unrealistic judge find it hard to believe that all that damage at Ikebukuro is cause by one Shizuo Heiwajima. Yet miraculously, no one have yet to die from Shizuo’s violent actions.
Of course, the other still have his stupid giggle and all of that crap as the other dodged the hurled bench. Despite knowing well that the information broker would dodge it easily, Shizuo hurled the bench at him anyway. One can hope a miracle now, can they? A miracle that Izaya failed to dodge and actually got hit. He doesn’t want to kill the other, but he wouldn’t mind if he fell under Shizuo’s hand. Makes the world a better place without that flea around. The bodyguard isn’t even as dumb as the other described with average results in his exams. One with underdeveloped, protozoan brain won’t be able to get a job now, would they. Except a certain someone keeps getting him fired from them.
❝ You? Have feelings? Don’t make me laugh. ❞
Izaya is barely a ‘simple information broker’, but a monster to Shizuo. He’s convinced that the other framed him for crimes he never committed as if it was a fact set in stone. The other’s words seem to be not affect the blonde, being exhausted by now.
But he’ll have to be wary. His body may heal quickly, but he doesn’t want any stupid cuts from this idiot with the other’s love of that crap penknife.
